Hikins 3.0Gallon PP Plastic RO Water Pressure Bladder Tank For Drinking Water Storage

Hikins Reverse Osmosis tanks are manufactured with the highest rated materials and most advanced technologies available, with over 20 years bladder tank manufacturing experience, Hikins RO tanks are the global pioneer in manufacturing RO tanks with antibacterial butyl diaphragm properties. All RO tanks are manufactured in a dust-free workshop, and we ensure that any harmful materials are removed from every single diaphragm used in our tanks, to guarantee long product life and optimal performance, Hikins tanks are manufactured with our patented precision welding technology. Combined with one of the highest mold thickness in the industry, it ensures the ultra strong structural integrity and a tank weld that always stays intact. To prevent air leaks, Hikins tanks are sealed with double O-ring air charge valve. Therefore, Hikins tanks offer the most safe and maintenance free solution for storage your purifier water.

Hikins bladder RO tanks are available with metallic tanks, poly-plastic tanks and plastic steel tanks.

FAQ

FAQs on RO water storage tank OEM manufacturing

Q1: What is the purpose of water storage tank?

A1:The water storage tank is with a vacuum diaphragm structure to storage pure water and to deliver pure water under certain pressure difference, the default pressure injected to the water tank is 5psi, which will ensure the water being properly delivered to water tap once the water tap is turned on.

The water tank is used for the RO system to be with the following benefit:

1) To speed up the pure water delivery speed while the filtration speed is not sufficient

2) To reduce the working frequency of the RO system, to make the RO system more stable in the long run

3) To ensure constant water supply in a short time while the electrical power is off

Due to the vacuum environment, the water storage tank can depress the bacteria from growing under the condition that the water tank is in good quality.

Q2:What is the structure of the water storage tank?

A2:The water tank is separated by the upper layer and bottom layer by the EDPM diaphragm rubber within the tank, the upper side is controlled with one single feed water nozzle and with the same nozzle to deliver water, water being injected to the water tank thus is storage in a vacuum condition. The lower layer is injected with air pressure by the air nozzle at the bottom of the tank, and to give pressure balance between the tank and to the water faucet, once the faucet is turned on, the water will be delivered by the air pressure difference.

Q3: How does the water storage tank work?

A3: When the upper layer of the water is being injected to the water tank, the water pressure will be increased and will be equal to the injected air pressure; when the water is delivered and the water pressure decreased, the RO system will start the water filtration again until the water pressure and air pressure being balanced.

Q4: Will the water tank grow bacteria and the water gets polluted?

A4: Due to the vacuum condition of the water storage tank, in case the RO membrane is with good quality, the water inside the water tank is not easily to get polluted; but if the water quality is bad, or the water filters are not changing properly, the water inside the tank does become possible of getting polluted.

Q5: How often shall the water tank be replaced?

A5: If the water inside the tank is not used for a while, it is suggested the water to be drained out completely before drinking the water from the RO system, if the water tank is being used above two years, it is suggested that the tank being replaced as the EDPM diaphragm material might become oxidized.

Q6: Is the water storage tank possibly being explode?

A6: For plastic water storage tank, under the condition of HP switch not proper working, the RO system will continue to send water to the water tank, while the water pressure increased to a pressure above 35psi, the plastic water storage tank is possible to explode (It is mainly depending on the plastic material and structure of the water tank, if the plastic tank is assembled with pressure release valve, the tank is not possible to explode), there is less chance that the metallic tank is to explode.

Q7: Water is the most common problem of the water storage tank?

A7: The most common problem of the water storage tank is the feed water nozzle water leakage, causing the water going into the lower layer of the tank, causing the pressure balance being damaged. The second problem is that the diaphragm material being broken (this situation is not often as the tank is properly tested before it is sending out of the factory).

Q8: How can we identify water storage tank problem?

A8:If the water tank is full of water, and the water does not come out, it is either because of water leakage or the air pressure drop.
